Joseph David Group Ltd takes its responsibilities under UK data protection law seriously. This page sets out how we approach data protection as an organisation, and what that means for the people who share information with us. We are registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16187779) with a registered address at 92 Station Lane, Hornchurch, RM12 6LX.

Our commitment

We collect only the information we need. We keep it only for as long as necessary. We do not sell it, share it unnecessarily, or use it for any purpose other than the one for which it was provided. These are not just legal obligations. They reflect how we think it is right to treat the people who trust us with their information.

UK GDPR compliance

Joseph David Group Ltd processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. We process data lawfully, fairly and transparently. We collect it for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes. We do not process it in ways that are incompatible with those purposes. We keep it accurate, and we store it securely.

Data we hold

The personal data we hold relates to individuals who have contacted us through our website or with whom we have an existing professional relationship. This includes names, email addresses, organisation names and the content of enquiries. In the context of consultancy engagements, we may also hold information relevant to the work agreed, as set out in the relevant engagement documentation.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Where we use third-party services to process data on our behalf, we ensure those services meet appropriate standards. Our contact form submissions are handled through Web3Forms, which transmits data securely and does not retain it.

Data subject rights

If you have provided us with personal data and wish to exercise any of your rights under UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, please contact us at hello@josephdavidgroup.com. We will respond within the statutory timeframe of one calendar month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Sensitive data

Given the nature of the settings we work in, including schools, mental health services and residential care, we may from time to time handle information that relates to vulnerable individuals. We handle all such information with the highest level of care, in compliance with applicable legal requirements, and only to the extent necessary for the legitimate purpose of the work being undertaken.
